The Cat in the Hat, the inimitable iconic character created by Dr. Seuss, presents the story of Horton the Elephant. While protecting a tiny friend and all the invisible Whos from a world of nay-sayers and dangers, Horton must also guard an abandoned egg. And through it all, the faithful caretaker faces ridicule, kidnapping and a trial. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, family and community emerge triumphantly in this lovely story treasured by old and young alike.
